Trip to Mexican Orphanage
As a ministry we joined with our daughter Summer and her
friend Leslie to bless Casa hogar alcanzando la vision, an orphanage home in
Tijuana. The girls gathered gifts for the 27 children from family, friends and
their churches to take to Tijuana on December 19, 2009. Our friends George and
Rosalva Sullivan who minister in and around Tijuana at rehab facilities were
our contacts with the home. We had a wonderful time watching the children open
their gifts and were in awe at how people were led to buy just the right gifts
for each child! We were blessed and touched as we heard many of the children’s
testimonies of being saved from homelessness, abuse and hunger by the Lord and
so glad to have a home where they are safe! We will continue to participate
with George and Rosalva in their ministry to the people of Tijuana as God gives
opportunity!
